Biography

Diane Lebouthillier has been Member of Parliament for Gaspésie–Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine since November 2015.

Diane was previously prefect of the Rocher-Percé RCM and owns La Ferme du Petit Moulin. Before politics, Diane worked for over 23 years with clients of the Rocher-Percé Health and Social Services Center. She sat on the board of directors of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles. She also assumed the chairmanship of the board of directors of the Réseau collectif Gaspésie-Les Îles and of Transport adapté et collectif des Anses as well as the vice-chairmanship of Les Ateliers Actibec 2000 inc.

Diane holds a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Moncton. In 2013, the Royal Canadian Legion presented her with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of her service.

She is the mother of three adult sons and grandmother of three grandchildren.
